Miami Volleyball Category Leaders
Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miamivolleyball team travels to Florida Memorial for its tenth match of the 2001 season.The Hurricanes are 5-4 overall, 1-3 on the road and 4-1 at home.
Junior outside hitter Marcela Gamarra (Medellin, Colombia) has a team-high 149kills on 297 attempts (.404). Freshman setter Mallorey James has 217 assists andfreshman Jamie Grass (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) has 114 digs.

UM will stay on the road for its next match — an October 1st date at FloridaA&M in Tallahassee. The next evening, at 7 p.m., the Hurricanes face off againstrival Florida State. The match will be televised by the Sunshine Network.
Miami’s next home match at the Knight Sports Complex is against the Tulsa GoldenHurricane on Thursday, October 11th, at 7 p.m.
