The 2004 Hurricane Club Spring Tour came to Tampa on Thursday, April 29, with a fun and entertaining dinner and auction that raised over $5,000 to benefit the University of Miami Hurricane Club. The Hurricane Club raises money to provide scholarships for the University’s student-athletes. The event was hosted by former Hurricane standout Horace “Hi-C” Copeland who showed everyone that he can still do his signature flip. The event also featured Head Football Coach Larry Coker and Assistant Basketball Coach Barclay Radebaugh. more:

On March 16, the Tampa Chapter of the Hurricane Club hosted a tailgate party at USF’s Red McEwen Field prior to the Hurricanes’ baseball game against the USF Bulls. Fans enjoyed delicious food, a raffle and the opportunity to interact with some former Hurricanes such as Doug Shields, J.D. Arteaga, Bobby Hill, Kevin Brown, Greg Howell, Todd Ozias and more. Former Hurricane football player Kenny Lopez was also in attendance.
