Women's Crew Travel To The Rivanna Romp

Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami varsity women’s crew travel this weekend to the University of Virginia’s Rivanna Romp on Sunday, November 12 at the Rivanna Reservoir in Charlottesville.

The Hurricanes will row two boats in the College Eights race. In the “A” boat will be Sheila Cornelius, Jenny Krawec, Dorien ten Have, Amanda Turner, Monika Manios, Ananda Chou, Jacqui Julien, Marijka VanderPol and coxswain Jenny Lee. In the “B” boat will be Jordanna Heywood, Cathy Dunnet, Stephanie Tilley, Trisha Blackwell, Kate Weeden, Bridgett Gallagher, Yianna Reizakis, Ruza Rebac and coxswain Cina Quezada.

Miami will also take part in the College Fours race with two boats, as well. In the “A” boat will be Cornelius, Krawec, ten Have, Turner and Lee. The “B” will feature Caroline Stuart, Lindsey Tarabula, Bernadette Lack, Ansley McGarity and coxswain Meg Venezia.

The Rivanna Romp will be the last event for the varsity crew this semester. The novice women will take place in the Fall Freshmen Regatta in Melbourne, FL on Saturday, November 18.
