Miami Swimmers Face FAU

Coral Gables, FL – The University of Miami men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will take on Florida Atlantic University on Saturday, October 14 beginning at 1 p.m. at the Norman Whitten Student Union pool in Coral Gables, FL.
Admission is Free.
The Hurricanes look to rebound after last weekend’s dual meet with Florida State. The UM women dropped a 158- 87 decision to the Seminoles while the Hurricane men fell 158- 79 to their intra-state rivals.
Junior Brittany White and sophomore Katie Beth Bryant led the Hurricane women. White finished first in the 500-yard freestyle (5:42.30) and 1,000-yard freestyle (10:39.41) while Bryant won both 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.
The hurricane men were led by junior Wesley Stoddard and sophomore Kyle Prandi. Stoddard took first in the 500-yard freestyle (4:41.30) and 1,000-yard freestyle (9:50.98) with Prandi winning the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions.
