BOCA RATON, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s swimming and divingteam (0-3) lost to interstate rival Florida Atlantic 184-80, on Saturdayat Florida Atlantic.
Miami’s swimmers were led by junior Daniel Asencio, who placedfirst in the 100-yard backstroke (:53.07), third in the 100-yard butterfly(:53.40), and third in the 200-yard butterfly (2:01.07). All-American’s Imre Lengyel and Tyce Routson led the divers. Lengyelfinished first in both the 1- and 3-meter diving events, with scores of342.30 and 347.55, while Routson finished second in both events, withscores of 320.45 and 264.85.
