Graduate Assistant - Defensive Backs

Chris O’Hara is in his first season as a defensive graduate assistant for the Miami Hurricanes. O’Hara spent the 2011 and 2012 seasons as a student defensive assistant for the Hurricanes.

As a UM student assistant, he assisted defensive coordinator Mark D’Onofrio with creating weekly scouting reports, assited with daily practice preparation and post-practice meetings for defensive backs, scout team operation and maintained and updated all quality control.

Prior to arriving in Coral Gables, O’Hara spent two seasons with Golden and D’Onofrio at Temple University in Philadelphia. In his first semester with the Owls, he was a recruiting assistant before becoming a student defensive assistant for the remainder of his freshman and sophomore years.

O’Hara earned his bachelor’s degree in sport administration with a minor in business from the University of Miami in December 2012, graduating magna cum laude with a 3.87 GPA. He maintained a 3.9 GPA at Temple, studying sport and recreation management.
