UM's Hilland In Fourth Heading Into Final Round

Bradenton, FL (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami sophomore Camilla Hilland (Lommedalen, Norway) posted a two-round total of 146 and is in fourth-place heading into the final round of the Waterlefe/USF Invitational being held at Waterlefe Golf Club in Bradenton, FL.
Hilland, who recorded a 75 in the morning’s opening round, scorched the course for a 71 in the afternoon to move up 11 spots from 15th-place. Freshman Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) is currently in seventh-place after posting a two-round total of 149.
Miller, who has finished no lower than sixth in Miami’s first three tournaments this spring and has a team best 74.7 strokes per round average, was in third-place following a first round score of 71. Miller posted a second-round score of 78 in the afternoon.Hilland and Miller are chasing Federica Piovano (Central Florida) and Stacy Snider (Michigan State) who are tied for the individual lead after recording opening-day scores of 141.
As a team the Hurricanes shot 625 in the first two rounds and are in sixth-place. Michigan State (293-301-594) leads the team competition followed by Central Florida (304-310-614), Tulane (308-311-619) and South Florida (309-310-619).
Final round action will be concluded Tuesday, March 19.
