CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Following Sunday’s overtime upset of No. 7/5 Duke, the Miami Hurricanes have received a vote in the Feb. 6 AP Poll.

The last time Miami was in the polls was Jan. 11, 2010 when the Canes were ranked No. 23 in the AP Poll and were receiving votes in the USA Today/ESPN Poll.

In Durham, Miami was led by junior center Reggie Johnson, who tallied 27 points and 12 rebounds in the Canes’ first-ever win at Cameron Indoor Stadium and earned ACC Player of the Week accolades for his performance.

Miami is one of six unranked ACC teams to defeat Duke at home since 1997-98.
