Setting

“Contacting the Ball at High, Neutral Position.” This will freeze the opposing middle blocker from cheating on their read of the setter. Most setters will take the ball slightly ahead or behind to set the ball forward or backward. By setting in a neutral position, the block cannot move until the ball has been set.
