BOSTON (AP) – Amber Jacobs scored a season-high 28 points as No. 23 BostonCollege beat Miami 84-77 on Saturday.
Becky Gottstein added 24 points and nine rebounds. Brianne Stepherson hadcareer-high 13 assists and six points for the Eagles (19-7, 11-4 Big East).
Meghan Saake paced Miami (15-11, 7-8) with 24 points, and Tamara James added23.
The Eagles led for the majority of the game and held a 39-33 halftime edge.
The Hurricanes pulled ahead 77-71 with three minutes left before the Eaglesretook the lead with a 13-0 run.
Gottstein hit a three-point play to give the Eagles a 78-77 lead with 1:28remaining. Jacobs followed with a 3-pointer with 31 seconds left to help sealit.
