Hurricanes Return To Action

CORAL GABLES, Fla. -The University of Miami women’s golf team returnsto action on Friday at the Beacon Woods Invitational at Beacon Woods GolfClub in Bayonet Point, FL. The three-round, 12-school tournament, hosted bySouth Florida, runs through Sunday at the par-72, 6,015-yard course.

Miami is coming off a 10th-place finish at its season opener, theAuburn Tiger Invitational. The Hurricanes finished fifth at last year’sBeacon Woods Invitational after posting a three-day team total of 929(311-305-313).

Joining UM at the tournament are Central Florida, Florida State,Iowa State, Louisville, Mississippi State, Rollins, South Alabama, SouthFlorida, Southern Mississippi,Toledo and Tulane.
