Game Notes – Miami at No. 3 North Carolina Get Acrobat Reader

The Game
Miami (9-5) battles No. 3/4 North Carolina (14-2) on Jan. 10 in the Dean Smith Center in Chapel Hill, N.C. at 9 p.m. Last season the Hurricanes played the Tar Heels twice, losing by only five total points. In the 2011 ACC tournament, Miami held a 19-point lead in the second half against North Carolina, but the Canes lost that second-round game, 61-59.

The Series
Miami is 2-16 against North Carolina, last beating the Tar Heels 81-70 on Jan. 14, 2006 in Chapel Hill. The first victory was a 64-61 overtime win on Jan. 4, 2003 in Coral Gables.
