Hurricanes Host Ryder Championship

CORAL GABLES, FL – The University of Miami women’s golf team will host the RYDER/Florida Collegiate Golf Championship on Friday, March 31 through Sunday, April 2 at Don Shula’s Golf Club in Miami Lakes, FL. The three-round tournament, on the par-72, 6,317yard course, will feature the Hurricanes and 14 other women’s golf teams from around the state.

Joining UM at the tournament are Florida State, Central Florida, South Florida, Florida International, University of Florida, Florida Southern, Rollins, Lynn, Stetson, Florida Atlantic, Jacksonville, Barry, Nova Southeastern, and Bethune-Cookman.

Miami is coming off a 12th-place finish at the River Wilderness Women’s Golf Invitational. The Hurricanes finished sixth at last year’s RYDER Championship, after posting a three-day team total of 950 (313-324-313).

The tournament will start at 7:30 a.m., with the Hurricanes teeing off at 10:00 a.m.
