Women's Basketball Defeated Pittsburgh 77-61.

Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – – Sophomore forward Chanivia Broussard scored 22 points as the University of Miami women’s basketball team routed Pittsburgh 77-61 Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Knight Sports Complex.
The Hurricanes improve to 14-7 (7-4) on the season, the Panthers fall to 6-14 (1-8).
Sophomore foward Shaquana Wilkins recorded her fifth double-double of the season including 19 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
Senior guard Sheila James also scored in double-digits with 12 points and three rebounds. James was also three-of-four from the three-point line.
Pittsburgh also had three players in double-digits including two with double-doubles. Laine Selwyn recorded 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Bettina Love knocked in 17 points and 10 rebounds. Brooke Stewart had a team-high 19 points and five rebounds.
The Hurricanes outrebounded the Panthers 77 to 61. Miami also shot 39 percent from the field and 50 percent from the three-point line.
The Hurricanes next go on the road to face Virginia Tech on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Blacksburg, Va.
