Evelyn Columbie was appointed the Insurance Coordinator for the University of Miami Athletics Department in October of 2018.
Columbie is responsible for all aspects pertaining to the University of Miami’s athletic insurance including – but not limited to – billing authorizations, insurance verification, coordinating and updating insurance for student-athletes and UM workday purchasing.
Prior to working with the Athletics Department, Columbie served as a Medical Collector and Insurance Representative at the University of Miami Central Business Office from 2012-2018.
Columbie has an extensive medical billing and collections background and has been a loyal employee at “The U”. Throughout this time, she has progressively and continuously advanced her healthcare professional career.
