Made an immediate impact for the Hurricanes, starting 29 of 30 games… Second on the team and 10th in the ACC with 14.6 points per game–including 15.6 points per game in ACC play… Grabbed a team-leading 5.9 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game, which ranked second-best in the conference and 10th in the nation… Also ranked third in the ACC and 28th in the NCAA in 3-point field goal percentage (.388) and fifth in the conference and 63rd in the nation with 2.2 3-point field goals made per game… In ACC play, led the team in rebounds, assists and steals and was the second-leading scorer–and tops among returners… Tied the school record with an ACC season-best 10 steals versus Wake Forest (2/8)–which also tied for the fourth-best performance in NCAA Division I play in 2006-07… Registered at least one steal in all but two games, and grabbed four-or-more 13 times and three-or-more 17 times… Scored a career-high 28 points twice–at Virginia Tech (1/25) and at No. 2/2 North Carolina (2/18)… Converted a career-high five three-pointers in both games, converting 5-of-6 from beyond that arc at Virginia Tech and hitting four in the second half at UNC to lead a rally that fell short… That 83.3 percent conversion rate from beyond the arc at Virginia Tech was the best by a Hurricane in 2006-07… Hit three-or-more 3-pointers in four-straight games (1/10-25) and in eight of the last 13 games of the season… Hit at least one trey in 21-straight games… Scored 20-or-more points six times–including four times in ACC play–and finished in double-figures in 25 of 30 games… Scored a team-high 24 points, with four treys, seven boards and three steals versus No. 1/1 Maryland (1/10)… Posted four double-doubles, including a 25-point, 10-rebound performance at Santa Clara (11/15) and an 11-point, 11-rebound outing at Virginia (2/4)… Grabbed a career-high 12 boards at Duke (1/3)… Dished out a career-high six assists versus Texas State (12/16) and registered another five in a career-high 40 minutes versus N.C. State (2/24).

Prior to Miami
Earned First Team NJCAA All-America honors at Monroe Community College in 2005-06, averaging 19.1 points, 4.5 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game… Helped lead Monroe, who moved from Division II to Division I in 2005-06, to back-to-back NJCAA National Championships… Paired with former UM teammate Renee Taylor to lead MCC to the 2005 NJCAA Division II Title… Named the NJCAA 2006 Tournament MVP after scoring a combined 53 points in the semifinal and championship games.
