As a Sophomore ’88-’89 – All-American candidate … started an scored in double figures in all 29 games … scored 21 points in Miami’s first-ever NCAA appearance vs. Oklahoma State … led Miami in four categories: points (22.4), rebounding (9.2), field goal percentage (.548), and blocked shots (17) … tied for first in steals (56) … rated second on the squad in free throw percentage (.789), minuets played (984) and third in assists (66) … shot 50 percent or better drom the floor in 22 of 29 games (75.8%) … has scored 20 points or more in 19 of 29 contests (65.5%) … grabbed double digit rebounds in 15 of 29 tilts (51.7%) … became only the third player in UM women’s basketball history to score 40 points in a game (at Florida International 2-24-89) … in the Lady Canes home opener, she became the first person to grab 20 rebounds in a game since Cordelia Fulmore set a UM record bringing down 25 caroms against Georgia State on 2-24-84 … scored 23 points in her collegiate debut vs. Southwest Missouri State (most ever by a Hurricane player in their opening game) … in that game, Savage shot an amazing 84.6% from the floor (11-13) … has made 10 free throws in a game on five occasions: vs. Florida Atlantic (10-10), at Florida International (12-13), vs. Southwest Missouri State (10-12), at Houston (10-13), vs. Florida (10-11) … making 10 from the charity stripe in a game that has only been accomplished by four others in UM women’s basketball history … dished out eight assists vs. Bethune Cookman on 2-22-89 … named Lady Sunshine Tournament Most Valuable Player (two game totals of – 52 points, 26 rebounds and 21 of 27 from the floor); Lady Cougar Classic All-Tournament Team … entered the Hurricane record book in several season departments: 649 points (ranks in second place), 131 free throws (ranks third), 256 field goals made (ranks third), 169 free throws attempted (ranks third) and 467 field goals attempted (ranks seventh) … closest effort to a triple-double came at home vs. Bethune Cookman (22 points, 16 rebounds and eight assists) … pumped in 29 points including three 3-pointers against Rutgers… scored 30 markers and grabbed eight rebounds in Miami’s 66-52 win at Toledo. 

As a Freshman ’87-’88 – Sat out the 1987-88 season fulfilling NCAA Bylaw 5-1-(j) (Proposition 48) requirements throughout the academic year.

High School – Piper High School – scored 30.5 points and grabbed 15 rebounds per game as a senior … voted Miami Herald Player of the Year (Broward County) … Converse All-American team … Miami Herald Super South Florida squad … first team All-State selection … Broward Player of the Year her sophomore season.
