As a Freshman ’89-’90 – Played in all 31 games including three starting nods … utilized as the #1 guard off the bench … scored a career-high 12 points, grabbed four rebounds and had four assists in Miami’s 77-70 win at Florida A&M (12-6-89) … ranks fourth on the squad in free throws percentage (.733), seventh in scoring (3.7) , fifth in field goals percentage (.460), seventh in rebounding (1.8) and fourth in assists (55) … in her first collegiate contest, pumped in nine points, brought down three rebounds and five assists aiding UM over Florida 76-61 … had four or more assists in six games including a career-high six at Bethune Cookman … made her first collegiate start vs. District of Columbia (79-47) scoring six points, dishing out four assists and grabbing three rebounds … scored her first collegiate points as the 10:44 mark of the first half vs. Florida (11-28-89) … saw extensive action at the National Women’s Invitational Tournament playing 50 minuets over three games (six points, four rebounds and four assists).
High School – Glades Central Community – named 1988 Palm Beach Post Female Basketball Player of the Year following her senior campaign … a first-team All-state 3-A selection … lead Glades Central to the State Final Four averaging 24.1 points and dishing out a 10.5 assists per game … scored 20 points in a losing effort to Sanford Seminole (60-55) in the state semi-final … named Most Valuable Player of the Cardinal Newman Tip-Off Classic her junior and senior seasons … a member of the Fort Lauderdale Westminster All- Tourney team … helped Glades Central compile a 101-15 (.870 record over her four year career.
