2017 Outdoor: Placed 12th overall in the women’s college 100m with a time of 11.47 seconds at the Florida Relays… Won the women’s 100m with a time of 11.57 seconds and was a member of the winning women’s 4x100m relay team that posted a time of 44.17 seconds at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational… Finished sixth overall in the women’s 100m with a time of 11.58 seconds and was a member of the winning 4x100m relay team at the Michael Johnson Invitational… Member of the 4x100m relay team that set a school record in the women’s 4x100m relay at 43.58 seconds, finishing second overall with a time that is eighth in the NCAA this season at the Tom Jones Invitational… Finished second in Heat 4 in the women’s 100m preliminaries with a time of 11.64 seconds that earned her a spot in Sunday’s final and picked up four more points for the Hurricanes in the women’s 100m final, finishing fifth with a time of 11.51 seconds… Member of the women’s 4x100m relay team that defended Miami’s title in the event, setting conference, ACC Championship and school records with a time of 43.36 seconds that ranks sixth in the NCAA this season…

2017 Indoor:  Won Heat 1 of the women’s 60m with the fastest preliminary time, 7.39 seconds and excelled in the final by winning the race with a time of 7.39 seconds. Also earned the victory in the Long Jump with a mark of 5.94m at the VT Invitational… Finished fifth in the women’s 4x400m relay team at the Virginia Tech Invitational with a time of 3:48.74… Finished third in the women’s 60m final with a time of 7.31 seconds at the McCravy Memorial Invitational that ranks fourth all-time in UM history. The junior reached the finals with a preliminary time of 7.35 seconds that was third fastest in the field of 36… Earned one of eight spots in the final with a preliminary time of 7.46 seconds and finished third in the women’s 60m final with a time of 7.40 seconds at the Tiger Paw Invitational. Also, finished 12th in the women’s 200m with a time of 23.81 seconds… Finished seventh at 24.07 seconds to round out a 19-point performance by the women in the 200m final and competed in the long jump at the ACC Championships… Earned a bronze medal in the women’s 60m final with a time of 7.34 seconds, adding six points to the women’s overall team score… 

Knott joins the Hurricanes after spending two years at Arkansas State. The gifted sprinter was a national qualifier in the 60m and 100m in 2016, finishing 15th in the 60m at the NCAA Indoor Championships and 17th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. She was the 2016 Sun Belt Outdoor Champion in the 100m and 200m, while also finishing fourth at the conference meet in the long jump. Knott also had a strong indoor season in 2016, finishing second in the 60m and 200m at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships.
