High School: Maryland is a talented jumper that comes to Miami from Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, Texas. She is a three-time district champion in the high jump and competed in the TAAF Games of Texas. A freshman at Miami who enrolled during the summer, Maryland was team captain her senior year at Southlake Carroll and helped set multiple school records on Carroll’s relay teams. Maryland is the daughter of two-time NCAA national champion, three-time Super Bowl Champion, College Football Hall of Famer, UM Football Ring of Honor inductee, Consensus All-American, Outland Trophy Winner and UM Sports Hall of Famer Russell Maryland.
