1998 South America Tour: Played and started in all four games . . . was second on the team in scoring with a 14.0 points per game average . . . also averaged 3.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game . . . hit a team high-five three pointers and was 15-of-16 (.938) from the line . . . recorded nine points, four rebounds and tied for team-high honors with six assists against Boca Juniors . . . registered 16 points, three assists and two steals in the Hurricanes’ victory over Andino Sports Club . . . recorded seven points, two rebounds, three assists and one steal against the Argentine National Team . . . scored 22 points to go with five rebounds, two assists and two steals in the tour finale against Welcome Athletic Club.

Sophomore 1997-98: Played in 24 games making 18 starts . . . ranked second on the team in scoring (14.1 ppg), third in rebounding (4.3 rpg) and fourth in minutes played (718) . . . was second on team in free throw percentage (.786) . . . scored in double figures in 20 of 24 games and led the team in scoring on seven occasions . . . had five 20-point games to rank second on team. In the Regular Season: Recorded a team-high 18 points against St. John’s (1-13-98) . . . recorded a team-high 20 points to go with three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 36 minutes against Pittsburgh (1-3-98) . . . was 8-of-18 from the floor, including 1-of-4 from three point range, and 3-of-3 from the line . . . named BIG EAST Player of the Week for week ending Jan. 4 after leading Miami to wins at Seton Hall and at Pittsburgh . . . led Miami with 19 points and a career-high 12 rebounds in 35 minutes against Seton Hall (12-31-97) . . . double-double was first of his career  . . . scored a career high 22 points, 20 in the second half, and pulled down six rebounds against Georgia State . . . was 6-of-8 from the field and 10-of-10 from the line in 27 minutes of action . . . recorded 20 points and six rebounds at Jacksonville (11-29-97) . . . connected on 6-of-9 from the field, including 2-of-4 from three point range and 6-of-6 from the line . . . scored 18 points vs. 17^th ranked UNC Charlotte (11-21-97) . . . made first career start against Southern Illinois (11-14-97) recording 16 points in 24 minutes of action. In the BIG EAST Tournament: Played 34 minutes off the bench and recorded a team-high 20 points in opening round loss to Georgetown (3-4-98) t the BIG EAST Tournament . . . was 8-of-16 from the field, including 2-of-8 from three-point range, and pulled down four rebounds. In the NCAA Tournament: Came off the bench in Miami’s NCAA Tournament game against UCLA (3-13-98) and earned Cheverolet Player of the Game honors recording his second double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Freshman 1996-97: Appeared in 24 games and averaged 12.4 minutes per game . . . converted 19-of-24 free throw attempts (.792). In the Regular Season: Tied for team-high honors with 11 points and recorded a season-high four rebounds in  Miami’s upset win over 7^th ranked Villanova (1-11-97) . . . had nine points and registered season-highs in assists (3), steals (3) and minutes (23) against Lehigh (12-30-96) . . . had eight points and three rebounds in 14 minutes off the bench in collegiate debut against Buffalo (11-22-96). In the BIG EAST Tournament: Recorded two points, two assists and one steal in two games  . . . played nine minutes in Miami’s win over St. John’s (3-5-97) recording one assist . . . did not score shooting 0-of-1 from the floor . . . scored two points in 10 minutes off the bench against Georgetown (3-6-97) . . . was 1-for-3 from the floor and recorded one assist and one steal. In the National Invitational Tournament: Played 11 minutes off the bench recording four points, on 2-of-4 shooting and one rebound against Michigan (3-13-97).

High School: Southern High in Baltimore, MD . . . earned Street & Smith’s honorable mention All-America status in both his junior and senior seasons . . . was a two-time All-Metro selection by the Baltimore Sun . . . averaged 17.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists as a senior while leading Southern to a 24-3 record, a state Class 4A Championship and a 10^th place ranking in the final 1996 USA Today Top 25 High School Poll . . . Baltimore’s top high school prospect and the lone Baltimore-area player to play in the Capital Classic . . . four-year starter who helped guide Southern in his senior year . . .
