Chris Stavreti Season 1961-62

Senior guard, 6-0 ft., 175 lb., 22 years of age, physical education major…originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Stavreti won two varsity letters at Miami and gives the team reliable depth at guard. Chris is fast, handles the ball well and if he maintains his sophomore accuracy he will see a lot of action.  High scoring game for the Hurricanes by Stavreti dates back to his sophomore year when he tallied 17 points against Florida Southern College.  That was also a higher point average than he ever recorded in high school or as a yearling.  Stavreti was an All-City performer back in high school. He is an excellent ball handler and he is good at feeding teammates.
