Set a school record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:00.85 at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championships (Feb. 16-19) in Atlanta… Posted an NCAA “B” cut time four times in the 100 breast on the year… Claimed a victory at the ACC Championships in the 100-yard breaststroke… Finished fourth at the Georgia Tech Invitational (Nov. 19-21) with a time of 1:02.40 and registering an NCAA “B” cut time in the process… Won the 100 breast race against FIU (Oct. 15) in a time of 1:03.43… Claimed seven (7) 100 breast wins on the year overall… Finished 13th at the ACC Championships and collected an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 2:15.68 in the 200 breaststroke… Earned three victories in the 200 breast on the year, including a tri-meet with FIU and Central Connecticut State (Jan. 15) in a performance time of 2:18.93… Second-place finish with a time of 2:19.13 in a tri-meet with Florida Gulf Coast and Florida State… Set a Rice University pool record with a time of 2:21.67… Swam the second leg for the UMiami school record-holding 200 MR team at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championships (Feb. 16-19), turning in a third-place time of 1:38.88 – and claiming a split time of 27.87… Second leg once again for the 200 MR team at the Georgia Tech Invite (Nov. 19-21), turning in a split time of 28.48 en route to a team second-place time of 1:41.35… Helped the 200 MR team to five wins… 400 MR team finished fourth at the ACC Championships and earned an NCAA provisional qualifying mark while she served leadoff with the team turning in a time of 3:39.28… Also swam with the NCAA “B” cut qualifying 200- and 400 free relay teams…

Freshman (2009-10)…
One of the best freshman performances in the breaststroke under the coaching guise of head coach Christie Shefchunas… Turned in five of the six top times on the year for UM in the 100 breaststroke… Had her finest 100 breast performance – and the fastest time for the `Canes on the year – at the ACC Championships with a time of 1:02.80 in the prelims… Had the team’s second-fastest time at the Ohio State Invitational in a time of 1:03.08… Claimed seven individual wins in the 100 breast… Posted two of the team’s top five performances for the season in the 200 breaststroke… Picked up three wins while finishing in the top five of five 200 breaststroke races… Posted her best 200 breast time with a win against Virginia Tech and Duke in a time of 2:19.09… Her second-fastest performance for the event came in a winning performance in a tri-meet against Florida Gulf Coast and Florida State… Also picked up a win against Florida Atlantic… Took part in two 100 butterfly races, collecting top-four times in both… Had a second-place finish in the 100 fly in a home tri-meet against Illinois and Nebraska… Swam second-leg on all five of the team’s top performances of the 200 medley relay… Helped the team to a season-best mark of 1:45.00 and a first-place finish against Florida Atlantic, taking a split time of 29.39 in the race… Served her best split time of 28.96 in the 200 MR at the ACC Championships… Second leg for the season-best team of the 400 medley relay in a time of 3:46.88 at the conference championships, taking a split time of 1:02.71… Swam third leg in the 200 freestyle relay at the Ohio State Invitational…

High School/Prep…
Attended Filborna School (Filbornaskolan)… Swam under club coach Sten Williamsson… Swam long course style in the 50-, 100- and 200 breaststroke… Also took part in the 50 and 100 freestyle… Served with the relay team while also swimming the individual medley… Finished third place at the Swedish Nationals… Turned in a time of 32.8 in the 50m breast… Registered a time of 1:09.8 in the 100m breast… Helped her team to a first place finish in the Swedish Junior Nationals… Holds the school record in a variety of events, including the 50 and 100 breast… Also holds school record in the 4x100m medley relay (long and short course)… Tuned in her best time in the 50 and 100 breast (short course) with 32.1 and 1:09.8 marks, respectively…

Daughter of Peter and Carina Johansson… Has a brother, Richard… Majoring in Criminology… Enjoys dancing, meeting friends, spending time with family and shopping… Chose to attend UM because she feels head swimming coach Christie Shefchunas can help her achieve her goals… Says her favorite sports memory came during the summer of 2010 when she and three friends beat the Swedish Junior Nationals record in the 4x100m medley relay… Lists her two favorite movies as Madagascar and Yes Man… Favorite magazine is Vecko Revyn (Swedish)… Likes almost all types of music and any artist… Favorite meals include roast beef and pasta…
