2019 Outdoor: Won the women’s 400m hurdles at the Power 5 Trailblazer Challenge with a time of 57.33 seconds, which at the time, was the fastest NCAA time… Finished sixth in the women’s 400m hurdles at the Florida Relays with a time of 57.92 seconds and was part of Miami’s fifth-place finish in the 4x400m relay that recorded a time of 3:32.22… Ran a 24.16 200m dash at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational and helped the Canes win the 4×400 relay with a time of 3:33.56…

2019 Indoor: Posted a time of 38.23 seconds in the women’s 300m at the UAB Blazer Invite to finish fourth… Ran a 54.68 in the 400m at the Texas Tech Classic and was a member of the women’s 4x400m relay team that finished fourth with a time of 3:35.73… Finished seventh in the 200m, recording a time of 24.52 and second in the 400m with a time of 54.26 at the Virginia Tech “Doc Hale” Elite Meet… Combined to a run a time of 3:42.65 in the women’s 4x400m at the Tiger Paw Invite… Ran a 54.31 in the 400m prelims and was part of the 4x400m relay team that won gold with a time of 3:32. 75, helping the Canes claim in the Indoor Championships for the fifth time under head coach Amy Deem.

2018 Outdoor: Finished fifth in the women’s 200m with a personal-best time of 24.02 seconds at the Hurricane Invitational and was a member of the first-place women’s 4x400m relay team with a time of 3:34.72… Earned the second-place finish at the Power 5 Trailblazer Challenge with a time of 1:00.76 and finished fifth in the women’s 4x400m relay with a time of 3:41.07… Finished third with a time of 58.49 seconds in the 400m hurdles at the Florida Relays and fourth in the women’s 4x400m relay after teaming up to post a time of 3:33.19… Won the women’s 400m hurdles with a personal-best time of 57.89 seconds at the Hurricane Alumni Meet… Finished second at the National Relay Championship in the women’s 400m hurdles with a personal-best time of 57.88 seconds… Won the women’s 400m hurdles at the 2018 ACC Outdoor Championships with a personal-best time of 56.77 seconds, the fifth-fastest in the country… Combined to run the 10th-fastest time at the NCAA East Preliminary in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:34.67 and advance to the NCAA Championships… Finished an outstanding 2018 season with a 17thoverall finish in the women’s 400m hurdles at the NCAA Championships with a time of 58.90 seconds and finished 15thoverall in the 4x400m semifinals with a time of 3:37.38.

High School: Gonzalez was named the Gatorade Girls Track & Field Athlete of the Year in her home state of Texas. She won the 300-meter intermediate hurdles in a state-record time of 40.81 seconds at the Class 5A state meet this spring. Gonzalez also finished third in the 100-meter high hurdles in 13.84. Her winning effort in the 300 hurdles ranked as the nation’s No. 2 performance among high school competitors in 2015 at the time of her selection and rates as 10th in U.S. prep history.
The 5-foot-8 senior has maintained a 3.57 GPA in the classroom. A member of her school’s yearbook staff and student newspaper, Gonzalez has volunteered locally on behalf of a children’s choir and a Vacation Bible School.
