Patrick Blackie

2008: Ran a 1:55.48 in the preliminary heat of the 800-meters at the ACC Outdoor Championships… Ran a leg of the 4×400 relay that placed sevneth at the conference championships.

High School: Named all-state as part of 4X400 relay team his senior year… Member of state champion track and field team, Parachol A Division… Named all-county both junior and senior seasons.

Personal: A finance major… Chose Miami for the great business program and the good fit in the track program… Enjoys building model airplanes and watching classic movies… Favorite movie is “Finding Forrester”… Favorite team is the Houston Rockets.
