As a Senior at UNCA (2021-22): Bierbaum was named to the Big South’s Second Team in both Singles and Doubles in 2021-22…He was also the team’s representative on the Big South’s All-Academic Team…He posted a 9-4 mark in the singles action, which included a 4-2 record against Big South foes…Played his best out of the No. 2 singles slot where he went 6-1…His main doubles partner was Jon Brann Reid and the duo went 6-2.

As a Junior at UCNA (2020-21): Named to Second Team All-Conference Singles and Doubles … Went 11-2 in singles competition, going 4-1 in conference play to help the Bulldogs claim their first ever Big South Regular Season Championship … Went 9-4 in doubles competition, played at the No. 2 and No. 3 flights … Was 4-1 in doubles action against Big South foes … 6-3, 6-1 victory in regular-season finale helped clinch championship.

As a Sophomore at UNCA (2019-20): Named Big South Player of the Week, January 29, after earning singles victories against NC Central and East Carolina … Led the team with nine singles victories during the season shortened due to COVID-19 … Went 9-4 playing across Courts Two-through-Five … Went 6-0 at No. 3 singles … Finished with three doubles victories.

As a Freshman at UNCA (2018-19): Named Big South Second-Team All-Conference in singles … Named Big South Freshman of the Week twice (March 27 and April 10) … Finished with a 16-3 record in singles … Saw in action in seven doubles matches throughout the season … Finished with a 5-1 record in doubles.

Prior to College: Competed on the ITF junior level, winning multiple matches that included winning three times to qualify for a grade four…Made an appearance at the prestigious Grade A tournament in Milan…Competed in multiple tournaments in Italy, earning a ranking of 2.6…Won the Trofeo Bosurgi in Milan and he reached the quarterfinals of the Cantu Open.
