2019 Outdoor: Finished second in the men’s triple jump at the Hurricane Invitational, recording a mark of 15.06m… Helped the Canes to a second-place finish in the 4x100m relay with a time of 40.49 at the Power 5 Trailblazer Challenge, finished sixth in the long jump with a mark of 6.60m and fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.93m… Helped Miami run a 40.76 in the 4×100 relay at the Florida Relays… Finished third in the men’s triple jump with a mark of 15.44m in the Alumni Invitational.

2019 Indoor: Knight posted a mark of 15.09m at the UAB Blazer Invite to win the men’s triple jump for the second straight year… Recorded a mark of 4.92m in the long jump at the UAB Vulcan Invite… Placed second in the long jump with a mark of 7.13m and fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 15.04m at the Virginia Tech “Doc Hale” Elite Meet… Placed fifth in the men’s triple jump with a mark of 15.38m, ranking as the third best mark in program history at the Tiger Paw Invite… Recorded a mark of 6.67m in the long jump at the ACC Indoor Championships. 

2018 Outdoor: Began the season at the Hurricane Alumni meet with a mark of 6.78m in the long jump… Was fifth in the men’s triple jump at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational with a mark of 14.48m… Competed at ACC Championship in the triple jump with a mark of 14.87m… Finished his outdoor season at the USATF Junior Championship in the triple jump and recorded a mark of 15.54m.

2018 Indoor: Earned a victory in his first competition as a Cane, winning the men’s triple jump at the UAB Blazer Invitational with a mark of 15.26m that ranks fourth all-time at Miami…Was eighth in the men’s long jump at the Power 5 Invitational with a mark of 6.98m…Finished ninth in the men’s triple jump at the Tiger Paw Invitational with a mark of 15.18m.

Knight is one of the top jumpers in the country, winning the 2017 Virginia Class 6A state championship in the long jump, triple jump and 100m. Knight finished third at the 2017 New Balance outdoor nationals in the triple jump and had an outstanding 2016 season, winning the 2016 AAU Junior Olympic Games triple jump championship and was the 2016 Virginia Class 6A outdoor state champion in the triple jump. Knight also was the 2016 Virginia Class 6A indoor runner-up in the triple jump. He has personal-bests of 24’3″ (7.39 meters) in the long jump, 51’3.25″ (15.63 meters) in the triple jump, 10.56 seconds in the 100m and 21.88 seconds in the 200m. Knight ranked second in the final all-class high school national ranking in the boy’s triple jump.
