Sophomore Season (2009-10)
Earned her first All-America honor after reaching the NCAA doubles quarterfinals alongside former teammate Laura Vallverdu … Went 28-5 in singles play and 34-6 in doubles play, playing primarily with Vallverdu in the No. 1 position … Played mostly at the No. 5 singles position, going 17-2 there … Also went 5-1 at No. 4 … Turned in an impressive mark of 22-3 in singles dual matches, including a perfect 11-0 record against ACC opposition during the regular season… Ranked as high as No. 87 in singles play and No. 3 in doubles … After dropping her first match of the spring season, won 22 of her next 23 singles matches, including a streak of 15 straight from Feb. 14 to April 18 … Went 2-1 in the NCAA Tournament, beating Boston’s Monika Mical, 6-0, 6-0, and No. 26 USF’s Jessica Zok, 6-0, 6-2, to help to `Canes to a regional title … Went 12-5 against ranked doubles opponents while teamed with Vallverdu … Paired up to defeat Cal’s ninth-ranked tandem of Mari Andersson and Jana Juricova from Cal twice, including a 7-5, 6-2 victory in the NCAA Round of 16 … Also during NCAA tournament play, beat USF’s 16th-ranked team of Irene Rehberger and Melissa Koning, Northwestern’s 59th-ranked team of Linda Abu Mushrefova and Lauren Lui and Denver’s 54th-ranked pair of Sophia Bergner and Ute Schnoy … Beat Georgia Tech’s 21st-ranked team of Irina Falconi and Sasha Krupina, 8-4, in the ACC tournament … Posted a 4-1 record in singles play during the fall campaign … Ended the fall season with a 9-1 record in doubles competition, all alongside teammate Laura Vallverdu … Won her first four singles matches, including a three-set decision (6-3, 2-6, 6-2) against No. 41 Yvette Hyndman of Georgia in second day action at the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational … Victory marked her first against a nationally ranked opponent … Earned the flight title at the GTFI with her third win, a 6-3, 7-5 triumph over Georgia Tech’s Sasha Krupina … Claimed a win in her opening round match of the Wilson/ITA Southeast Region Championships, grabbing a 6-2, 6-1 decision over FIU’s Maria Vallasciani … Lost her only singles match of the fall on the strength of a 4-6, 2-6 setback at the hands of Florida State’s Amy Sargeant at the FSU Invitational … Teamed with Vallverdu for nine consecutive wins to open the fall in doubles play … The duo entered the fall ranked No. 36 nationally in the preseason ITA doubles poll … Defeated the 11th-ranked pair of Amanda McDowell and Irina Falconi of Georgia Tech in the season-opener at the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational, using a 9-7 advantage in the match … Won the main draw doubles competition at the Wilson/ITA Southeast Region Championships … Defeated FIU’s 25th-ranked duo of Liset Brito and Priscilla Castillo, 8-5, in the quarterfinals … Knocked off Florida’s Lauren Embree and Allie Will in the semifinals, 8-4 … Took down USF’s duo of Melissa Koning and Irene Rehberger in the finals, 8-3 … Advanced to the semifinals of the ITA National Indoor Championships … Outlasted California’s second-ranked, and defending national doubles champs, Mari Andersson and Jana Juricova in the opening round, 9-7 … Advanced to the semis with their 8-2 victory over Fresno Pacific’s Vanessa Heroux and Katia Sabate in the quarterfinals … Fell in her lone doubles match of the fall in the semis alongside Vallverdu on a tough three-setter (6-2, 3-6, 4-6) against Tennessee’s seventh-ranked duo of Natalie Pluskota and Caitlin Whoriskey.

Freshman Season (2008-09)

Participated in the Copa Colsanitas Tournament in Bogota, Colombia where she finished in the quarterfinals in 2008 … Took part in a tournament in her hometown of Cali, advancing to the round of 16 … Took part in the Girls 18-under Nicolas Machivello Copa Graiman Tournament in Guayaquil in 2007 … Advanced to the Round of 16 in that event … Qualified for the Copa Colsanitas in 2007 as well … Also saw action in several out-of-country tournaments such as Mexico City, Monterrey, Mazatlan and Chihuahua … Finished in the quarterfinals of a tournament in Caracas in 2006.
