2005-2006: Placed third on Miami’s All-Time Top Ten Performers list with a time of 2:02.71 in the 200 backstroke posted in the finals of the ACC Championships…place 9th in the 100 back with a time of 57.30…took two first place finishes against Maryland/Duke and FAU in the 200 yard backstroke…finished first in the 100 yard backstroke against Florida International…ended with a sixth place finish at the Georgia Tech Invitational in the 100 backstroke…clocked in a time of 2:08.27 in the 200 yard butterfly at the Georgia Tech Invitational preliminaries before finishing eighth place in the finals.
2004-05: As a sophomore one of the Hurricanes top all-around sprinters, but primarily in backstroke and freestyle…broke the school record in 100-yard backstroke with a time of 57.23 at the ACC championships…finished 10th in the 100-yard backstroke after placing 11th in the preliminaries…swam the third fastest 50-yard freestyle of 2004-05 against Florida State…placed fourth in the 100-yard backstroke at the Georgia Tech Invitational and was the fastest Hurricane performer in that event…swam a personal best 2:04.43 in the 200-yard backstroke at the ACC championships…swam on the 2004-05 top performing 200-yard medley, 400-yard medley and 200-yard freestyle relay teams…named to the ACC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2003-04: Swam the fastest time of the season by any Hurricane in the 200-yard freestyle and swam a leg of the 200-yard medley relay and 200 and 800-yard freestyle relay top performing teams…qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in the 200-yard freestyle and the 100 and 200-yard backstroke…touched in with a time of 1:54.34 in the prelims of the 200-yard freestyle at the BIG EAST Championships.
Prep: Top times at Carondelet High School included 1:52.6 in the 200 freestyle, 58.8 in the 100 butterfly, 53.5 in the 100 freestyle, 2:04.2 in the 200 backstroke, 58.20 in the 100 backstroke and 5:03 in the 500 freestyle…team captain at Carondelet senior season…an Honorable mention All-American selection as a senior…led high school to a second place finish at the state championships junior season.
Personal: Sister, Lindsay is also a swimmer at UM…Chose Miami because the athletic programs and weather…majoring in business.
