Andrea Mortley is in her fourth year providing administrative support in the University of Miami’s men’s basketball office, working closely with head coach Jim Larranaga. Overall, this is her eighth year in association with Miami’s men’s basketball program, previously working in the office as a student-assistant.
Mortley is responsible for coordinating Coach Larranaga’s daily schedule, travel, speaking engagements and personal appearances. She also assists Mike Summey, Miami’s Director of Operations for men’s basketball, in internal operations of the program and serves as camp administrator for the boys’ summer basketball camps hosted by UM.
Prior to her current position, Mortley was a Senior Staff Associate with the University of Miami Frost School of Music in 2007-08.
A native of Los Angeles, Calif., she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in biology from the University of Miami in 2009, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree.
