Massey Qualifies for Second Straight NCAA Championships
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami sophomore swimmer Ashlyn Massey was officially announced as a qualifier for the 2026 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships Wednesday morning.
Massey punched her ticket to the NCAA Championships for the second straight year, earning her spot with a time of 1:55.40 in the 200-yard butterfly at the Miami First Chance Meet in mid-February.
A Montreal native, Massey was among Miami’s top point-getters for the second straight year.
Massey was seeded 19th for the NCAA Championships in the 200-yard butterfly a season ago when she posted a school-record time of 1:54.83. In addition to the 200-yard butterfly, she will be competing in the 100-yard butterfly at NCAAs for the second straight postseason.
Massey will be joined by Miami’s qualifying divers from the Zone B meet, which is slated from March 8-11 at the Gabrielsen Natatorium on the University of Georgia campus.
The 2026 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships are slated for Wednesday, March 18 – Saturday, March 21 at McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta.
