
Hurricanes Set for NCAA East First Round
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The road to the NCAA Championships begins Wednesday for the University of Miami track and field team as 28 student-athletes are set to compete at the NCAA East First Round at Hodges Stadium on the campus of the University of North Florida May 28-31.
A total of 15 women and 13 men will compete in 21 individual events along with all four relays with the top 12 finishers from each event will earn a spot in the NCAA Championships field held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, June 11-14.
Wednesday’s action begins at 2:30 p.m. with the men’s javelin while action begins on the track at 7:25 p.m. with the men’s 400m.
On the women’s side, action begins Thursday with the javelin at 2:30 p.m. while the 100m hurdles is slated for 6 p.m.
Each day of competition at the NCAA East First Round will be streamed on ESPN+ while live results can be found on www.flashresults.com.
