Miami Opens Outdoor Season at Hurricane Invitational

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Fresh off a strong finish to the indoor season, the University of Miami track and field team opens the outdoor slate Friday and Saturday as the hosts of the Hurricane Invitational at Cobb Stadium.

The two-day meet begins Friday at 11 a.m. with the hammer throw while action on the track gets underway at 6 p.m.

On Saturday, the meet opens with the javelin at 10 a.m. before the 100m hurdles at noon. Admission to the meet is free.

Joining the Hurricanes on the track is FAU, FIU, Florida Memorial, Florida National, Fort Lauderdale, Manhattan, Marshall and Virginia Tech.
