Miami Volleyball Signs Three on National Signing Day
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami volleyball head coach Jose “Keno” Gandara announced the signing of Simone Baskin, Billie Reiter and Amina N’Diaye.
“This is a dedicated group of young athletes with a strong work ethic coming from good volleyball programs,” said Gandara. “We are so excited to have them here at the U.”
Baskin is a middle blocker from Austin, Texas, and attended James Bowie High School, while being part of the Austin Juniors Volleyball Club. She was named the 2022 Offensive Player of the Year, was on the Second Team All-District team and will arrive fall of 2025.
Reiter is a setter from Greendale, Wisc., where she attended Greendale High School and the Milwaukee Sting club. She was tabbed as a 2025 PrepVolleyball top 150 prospect and named the PrepDig No. 1 ranked Setter in Wisconsin. Reiter will join the team when she arrives to Coral Gables in the spring of 2025.
N’Diaye is an outside hitter from Orlando, Fla., where she attended Lake Brantley High School and the OTVA volleyball club. This season, N’Diaye became the all-time kill leader at her high school and was a National Team Development Program selection.
