Byrne Tabbed ACC Golfer of the Month

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami golfer Sara Byrne earned ACC Golfer of the Month status for the second time this season after posting a pair of top-five finishes in the month of February.

Byrne is the first two-time ACC Golfer of the Month in Hurricane program history as the Douglas, Cork, Ireland native also earned the accolade in October.

Byrne not only recorded a pair of top-five finishes in February, but also helped Miami to a third-place showing at the UCF Challenge to kick off the spring season.

The senior shot par-or-better in all five rounds played in the month of February, including two sub-70 rounds. Byrne finished tied for fourth at the UCF Challenge (209; -7) and tallied her fourth career top-three finish with a second-place showing the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational (140; -4).
