Multis Head to Bryan Clay Invitational
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Michelle Atherley and Andreas Christodoulou will represent the University of Miami track and field team at the Bryan Clay Invitational Wednesday and Thursday.
The two multi-event student-athletes will take part in the two-day competition hosted at Cougar Athletic Stadium by Azusa Pacific University. In its 48thyear, the meet honors Azusa Pacific alumnus and gold medal decathlete, Bryan Clay.
Atherley will begin competition in the heptathlon at 4:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday with the 100m hurdles. She is also scheduled to compete in the high jump, shot put and will conclude the opening day of competition with the 200m, tentatively set to begin at 9 p.m. ET.
The junior, who earned a silver medal in the pentathlon at the 2018 ACC Indoor Championships, will begin Day 2 of the heptathlon at 3:30 p.m. ET with the long jump, followed by the javelin and the 800 meters at 6 p.m. ET to wrap up the competition.
Christodoulou kicks off the men’s decathlon at 3:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday with the 100m. The junior will also compete in the long jump, shot put, high jump and 400m on the first day of the decathlon, with his final event tentatively scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET.
The 2016 ACC champion in the decathlon, Christodoulou will start the second half of the decathlon at 2:30 p.m. ET on Thursday with the 110m hurdles. He will continue with the discus, pole vault and javelin before closing out the decathlon at 9 p.m. ET with the 1500m.

The Hurricanes will head to Charlottesville, Va., to compete at the Virginia Challenge on April 20-21.
