Volleyball Cancels UM/FIU Invitational

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami volleyball team has canceled the UM/FIU Invitational, scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
 
The Hurricanes (6-0) were set to host James Madison, Auburn and South Alabama on Sept. 15-16, but the University of Miami campus remains closed due to the after effects of Hurricane Irma. The tournament will not be made up.
 
Miami, who missed last weekend’s Sonesta Hotel Philadelphia Cherry & White Challenge due to the impending arrival of Hurricane Irma, is scheduled to return to action on Friday, Sept. 22 against Virginia Tech.
