Miami Finishes up Knecht Cup

Coral Gables, Fla.-The Miami Hurricanes finished up the Knecht Cup this Sunday, capping off the first Regatta of the season for the young rowing squad.

After a strong showing on day one, Miami had two crews competing in the finals of their respective events.

In the Grand Final of the Women’s Novice 8+, the `Canes finished fourth overall, ahead of ACC rival North Carolina. In the other race of the day, Miami finished sixth in the Petite Final for the Women’s Varisty 8+.

The Knecht Cup was the final tune-up before the Hurricanes head up to Clemson, S.C, to partake in the ACC Championships.
