His 17 strikeouts against Rollins in 1966 ranks 5th and the 15 complete games in his career is still currently 6th in school history. That Summer, he won a bronze medal at the Atlanta Olympics as a member of his native country Jamaica’s 4×400 meter relay team. In 1998, he won his 2nd NCAA title by winning the indoor 400-meters, as well as finishing 2nd in the outdoor 400-meters. Aubrey Huff, Baseball, 1997-1998
Aubrey was one of Coach Jim Morris’ most powerful hitters, during the school’s record run of College World Series trips ! Edgerrin James, Football, 1996-1998

Nothing points that out better than his school record 299 yards in 39 carries performance in the Canes upset victory over #2 UCLA in 1998 ! His 1,416 yards in ’98 was the most to that time of any Miami back (now 2nd). He is tied with Stephen McGuire for the most total touchdowns (35), 2nd all-time in rushing yards (2,960), 2nd in rushing td’s (32), 3rd in attempts (474), 3rd in all-purpose yards (3,590), and his 14 100-yard games is tied for most in school history ! She became the 4th UM golfer in 20 years to win the AIAW individual national title and was named an All-American in 1977 ! Cathy would go on to play in the LPGA and won the 1982 Chrysler-Plymouth Charity Classic.

Mike Sullivan, Football, 1987-1990
Mike was one of the Canes toughest and most durable offensive lineman in its history ! He started all 48 games during his career, which at the time was a UM record ! Miami went 44-4 in that streak, winning National Championships in 1987 and 1989 ! He was twice named honorable mention All-American and was an AP All-South Independent team selection. He was one of only 2 Hurricanes to receive an NCAA Post-graduate scholarship. Mike was drafted in the 6th round of the 1991 draft by Dallas and spent 5 seasons in the NFL with the Cowboys (’91) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (92-96).
