Hurricanes Set for 2007 ACC Championships

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s golf team heads to Charlotte, N.C. this weekend to participate in the 19th Annual Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Golf Championships held Friday, April 13 through Sunday, April 15 at the Carmel Country Club.

The Hurricanes are led by junior Jessica Steward’s team-low 76.54 stroke average followed by senior Tiffany Prats who has averaged 76.95 strokes per round this season.

Miami finished eighth overall at the 2006 ACC Championships led by Steward who placed eighth on the individual leaderboard.

Charlotte’s Carmel Country Club features a 6,293-yard, par-72 course that last hosted the ACC women’s championship in 2005.
