Hurricanes Fall To Eastern Michigan University

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The University of Miami volleyball team fell to Eastern Michigan, 3-0 Friday afternoon at the Spartan Invitational to record their second loss of the season. The Hurricanes fell to 2-2 while Eastern Michigan improved to 2-4.
Eastern Michigan overpowered Miami in the first frame out scoring them by 11with a score of 30-19, before defeating the Hurricanes in the second game 30-25. After Miami led early in the third game, the Eagles tied the score 7-7 and went on to win 30-24 to clinch the match.
The Hurricanes will return to action tomorrow, facing Villanova at 11 a.m. before taking on tournament host Michigan State at 7 p.m.
