Men's Track Team Earns All-Academic Honors

Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami men’s track and field team was one of 23 teams to garner All-Academic accolades by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

To earn All-Academic honors a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Miami, which also earned All-Academic honors in 2003, is the only ACC team to earn All-Academic honors this season by the USTFCCCA.

This is the second honor this season for Miami which also earned All-Academic distinction during the Cross Country season. The Hurricanes’ men’s cross country team has been honored by the USTFCCCA in three of the last four seasons.
