Men's Track and Field Completes First Day at ACC Indoor Championships

(hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami men’s track and field team finished the first day of competition at the ACC Indoor Championships. Roland DaSilva is in third place after completing four events of the Heptathalon.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>
DaSilva won the 60 meter dash and finished third in the long jump on his way to scoring 2902 points for the Hurricanes. Andrew Parsons is in ninth place, scoring 2585 points.
The Hurricanes return to action again tomorrow, starting with the 60 hurdles of the heptathlon at 12:00 pm, and conclude with the distance medley relay. Results will be posted with the conclusion of that event.
