Miller Moves Into Fifth At ACC Golf Championships

Charlotte, N.C. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami senior Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) shot a second round 75 to move into fifth-place at the ACC Women’s Golf Championship at Carmel Country Club in Charlotte, N.C.
Miller, who entered the Saturday’s round in a tie for eighth, has a two-day total of 153 and trails Duke teammates Anna Grzebien and Elizabeth Janangelo by five strokes. Miller has already recorded three tournament wins this season including each of her last two starts.
As a team the Hurricanes posted a 322 on Saturday putting them in fifth-place with a two day total of 641. Duke, the nation’s top ranked team, leads the tournament with a score of 594. Wake Forest is a distant second (628).
The final round is scheduled for Sunday at 8 a.m.
