Brutvan Leads Hurricanes At South Regional

AUBURN, Ala. – University of Miami sophomore Alex Brutvan (Boca Raton, FL) finished 57th in a time of 32:09.11 to lead the men’s cross country team to a 16th-place finish at the NCAA South Region Cross Country Championships held at Indian Pines Golf Course in Auburn, Ala.

Brutvan has been the Hurricanes top finisher in every event this season and has finished among the top-7 runners in five of seven races.

Also running well was Tom Berry (Stamford, CT) who continued his strong freshman campaign finishing 80th in a time of 32:58.68. Berry has been UM’s No. 2 finisher at every race this season including three top-5’s.
