University of Miami Novice Rowing garner two first place finishes at the Fall Freshman Regatta

The University of Miami novice rowing team closed out the fall season bringing home two first place finishes at the Fall Freshman Regatta Saturday, Nov. 9 in Melbourne, Fla.

The “A” 8+ boat placed 3rd (15:45). UCF was 1st (13:48) and Stetson was 2nd (15:37).The “B” 8+ boat placed 2nd (17:00). UCF was 1st (15:50).The “C” 8+ boat placed 1st (17:26). UCF was 2nd (17:38).The “A” 4+ boat placed 1st with a time of 14:58 (and had the fastest time on the course of any four that raced – varsity and novice).
