2001 RYDER/Florida Women's Collegiate Golf Championship

For the 17th consecutive year, and the 18th in the 31-year history of thetournament, the University of Miami will host the RYDER/Florida Women’sCollegiate Golf Championship. The event will be held for the ninth straightyear at Don Shula’s Golf Club in Miami Lakes (formerly Miami Lakes CountryClub), on March 30-April 1, 2001.

The tournament features the best women’s collegiate golf in Florida, as 14schools from the state come together for three rounds to determine the statechampion. Miami has won the tournament eight times, second to Florida, whichhas 15 titles. A list of the past winners of the event reads like an LPGAroster, including the inaugural winner, LPGA Hall of Farmer Pat Bradley, whowon playing for Miami-Dade North in 1971.
