Ten Men's, Six Women's Basketball Games On Fox Sports Net

CORAL GABLES, FL – Fox Sports Net Florida will broadcast 10University of Miami men’s basketball games and six women’s basketballcontests during the 2000-01 season.

Fox Sports Net began its UM coverage on November 28 with the men’snon-conference game against Charlotte. The network will also carry Miami’snon-conference game versus Memphis on December 21 along with eight BIG EASTbattles including road games versus Pittsburgh (Jan. 3), Virginia Tech (Jan.10) and Providence (Jan. 28).

Fox Sports Net will begin its women’s coverage on January 4 with atape delay broadcast of the Hurricanes’ January 2 match-up with Radford.Other games being broadcast on a tape delay basis include match-ups withProvidence (Jan. 18), Western Kentucky (Jan. 22), Georgetown (Feb. 4) andWest Virginia (Feb. 8). Miami’s BIG EAST contest at Virginia Tech on January7 will be carried live at 4:00 p.m.
