Hurricane Golfers Finish 16th At Lady Paladin

Greenville, SC – The University of Miami women’s golf team shot a final round 317 Sunday afternoon and finished 16th with a three-day total of 939 at the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, SC.
Sixth-ranked Auburn (291-290-296–877) won the team championship finishing seven strokes ahead of South Carolina (296-296-292–884) and 17 strokes ahead of host Furman (295-299-300–894).
Auburn’s Celeste Troche (68-71-71–210) shot under-par for the third consecutive day in winning the individual title by four strokes over South Carolina’s Kristy McPherson (72-72-70–214).
Senior Ashleigh Barrett-Hamilton (74-71-80–225) finished in a tie for 25th to lead the Hurricanes. Freshman Jazmin Cataldo (78-79-76–233) finished in a tie for 47th while freshman Camilla Hilland (78-77-81–236) placed 57th.
The Hurricanes will conclude the fall season at the Rollins Invitational, November 5-8, in Pine Needles, NC.
