UM Golfers Finish 10th At ACC/SEC Shootout

Destin, FL – The University of Miami women’s golf team (323-319-317–959) shot a final round 317 to finish 10th at the Dodge ACC/SEC Invitational Shootout in Destin, FL.

Auburn (305-294-309–908) won the team competition by one stroke over Mississippi State (313-293-303–909). Alabama (309-303-307–919) finished third.

Senior Ashleigh Barrett-Hamilton (78-79-78–235) was the Hurricanes’ top finisher. Hamilton finished in a three-way tie for 22nd. Freshman Jazmin Cataldo (83-77-76–236) finished in a tie for 25th followed by junior Dominique Gagnon (79-81-80–240) who took 33rd and freshman Camilla Hilland (83-82-83–248) who finished 43rd.

Celeste Troche of Auburn (71-70-71–212) fired a final round 71 to win the individual title by three strokes over Mississippi State’s Anna Gertsson (74-68-73–215).
